Former Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari has got bail. The Islamabad High Court has granted bail to Zardari on medical grounds. Zardari was arrested in a corruption case. Zardari sought bail in both the fake account case and the Park Lane case. During the hearing today, a two-member bench headed by High Court Chief Justice Athar Minallah decided on his petition.

Earlier, Pakistan People's Party (PPP) President Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had said that the doctors have prepared a medical report of his father and former President Asif Ali Zardari, which will be presented in court on Wednesday to get his bail.
According to The Express Tribune, Zardari was arrested in June 2019 by officials of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in connection with fake bank accounts. He is currently in Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi.
The PPP president while addressing the media had said, "We hope that the medical report will be presented in court on December 11, and the pending bail requests of Zardari and Faryal Talpur will be approved. We hope justice is done by the courts Will go. "
He said that the report would be presented in the court, which would decide on bail on medical grounds. Then, we will get Zardari admitted to a hospital in Karachi.
Bilawal termed the arrest of opposition leaders as a pressure tactic used by the government to silence them. He said, "We will not remain silent nor will we retreat."
