Analysis: After the shock in Maharashtra, there is a big relief for the BJP in Karnataka, Congress will have problems

In Karnataka, BJP has secured a clear majority in the state assembly till registering 12 seats in 15 assembly by-elections. The Congress and JDS have received a shock from these results. This victory is also important for the BJP because in Maharashtra, like Karnataka, a government has been formed in political circumstances. The by-elections were caused by the resignations of 12 Congress MLAs and three JDS MLAs. Of these, Congress has got only two seats and JDS has not got any seats.

After the Maharashtra setback, the BJP needed a similar victory, so that it could send a message to its cadres across the country that what happened in Maharashtra did not harm the BJP. At the same time, it has given indications for the politics of Maharashtra in the coming days.

While the BJP will get its benefits in the coming days, the problems of the Congress will increase. The political gains he had gained from his share of power in Maharashtra could suppress Karnataka's defeat.

Because of BJP's victory

1. Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa better fended off the Congress and JDS quarrels among the people.
2. For Yeddyurappa, it was the election of the greatest prestige as he promised to make everyone a minister.
3. After the assembly elections, the public was angry with the way the Congress and JDS formed the government after the BJP government fell.
4. BJP gains due to separation of Congress and JDS.
5. The public voted for stability due to the fall of two governments within a year.

Due to Congress defeat

1. The ruling party always benefits in the by-elections.
2. Many big leaders of the state government stayed away from campaigning.
3. The party did not compete in election management and campaigning.
4. The party could not field a better candidate in the by-elections.
5. The government did not get the benefit of forming an election in Maharashtra.
